PinWheels

I just love this quilt! A client brought it in for an allover design in the quilting.  So I picked up some of the motifs in the fabric and used lots of leaves...

Of course - it is not trimmed. I ask my clients if they would like it trimmed or not. Since the majority of them hand stitch the binding - they prefer to do the trimming themselves.

 A couple of close ups

A scrubs Quilt

A client of mine's Daughter is a nurse and she had tons of scrubs. They spent a weekend fussy cutting them and putting them into this great quilt.

I quilted lots of texture - but didn't want to overwhelm all the fun fabrics in the quilt.

She loved it!! I am so glad!!

Vintage Blocks

This client loves to take blocks that she finds at Estate sales and put them into beautiful quilts. I fell in LOVE with these blocks. The colors are really outstanding.

She added this fabulous brown and antique pink in the settings - and I quilted it with a Baptist Fan. Fabulous!

Watercolor Quilts

My client taught how to make these quilts a few years ago, and found she had more tops in her stash than she remembered. These fabrics were cut into squares, ironed on to grid fabric and then sewn,

A word of advice to other machine quilters - try to avoid the intersections. The fabric is really think there:
I quilted feathers through the Pansy Heart... and meandered through the purple.
It is a cute little quilt!

Row Robin

I had such a fun time with this Client Quilt. It is a row robin. One person makes a row, and passes it to another in their group. They do this 5 or 6 times and when they are done, the original quilter gets to assemble it.

I thought this one turned out lovely - and I enjoyed Quilting it:

It was fun to add whimsical quilting, and find ways to enhance each block And of course I loved the braid border!!
