Civil War quilt

This quilt - is just Cool!!!
I love these stars, and the setting was just really cool.

My instructions were:
no feathers.

Alright then ;-)
And we chose Baptist Fans.
I think that it totally suited this quilt.

I kind of had a hard time giving it back.....

This T Shirt quilt was made by Judy - and it is amazing! The T Shirts are incredible. Check it out!

Doesn't it look like a photo album?

She framed each shirt with really cool fabrics!

This is probably totally un-pc ... but the marine one is just awesome!!

Thanks Judy, for letting me work on such a great quilt!!!

Mmmm Mmmmm

Another client quilt. This one was brought to me with the instructions to make the appliques shine....

I know these aren't the typical letters on the eye chart...
But aren't they cool?

I think if you click on the pictures you will really see the details.

A Flannely Finish

This is one of my clients quilts.
I believe it is a Turning Twenty Again pattern,
it is all flannel and SO yummy!!

She just wanted an allover design on it.

So we went with feathers....

It gives it a little bit of a Victorian effect
and it makes it SO snuggly!!!

Purple Feathers

My Client brought me this quilt and said - I just want some feathers on it, and make it look pretty. You know? I think I like it when Clients say that. I had a BLAST quilting this quilt.

In the purple I drew curving feathers, and in the whites I offset the curviness with straight lines.

I really liked this effect!

In the tiny purple border I used a squiggly line that echoed what I did in the white.

I tried to get down on the floor...
I LOVE the texture!!

This was a fun quilt to do.
Now I want to make one!!
